How it all started…
In 1997 the owners of Arie Rustenburg & Zn decided to begin with backward chain integration by doing a part of cultivation by them self. Since then, they are mainly dedicated to the cultivation of carrots and cabbage. At the location in Opperdoes the main activities consist of rinsing and packaging carrots.
Extension
Since 1997 Arie Rustenburg & Zn is located in Opperdoes.
To go along with new technology and the new possibilities of rinsing carrots, the company has undergone a number of developments.
For example a new machine park has developed over the years and there has been an expansion of the business complex in 2008.
Biological
The last few years durability has become an important theme in today’s society, also with regard to food.
Because of this we have created the possibility for packaging biological carrots in our compagny,
the biological carrots are available in different sizes and types of packages.

Carrots
In 2010 we also started selling carrots which are intended for animals.
These carrots are packaged in 10 kilo net-bags and costs €1,-.
